In cases of severe tooth abscess, the affected area needs to be drained and oral antibiotics needs to be prescribed. These areas could easily and painlessly be treated using laser and surface anesthesia (No Needles). Another advantage of using laser for draining the infected area is the antibacterial and decontamination action of laser treatment. Due to use of laser, this techniques
is more conservative and minimally invasive. The conservative manipulation of the areas being treated, as well as gentle action of the laser, minimizes the post operative discomfort experienced by the patient, with minimal to no blood loss. The Bio-stimulatory effect of the laser also helps a faster surgical recovery.
